It’s all a bit confusing, especially for people without a lot of biology background to help them out.

TedEd recently posted this video by Craig Kohn that reviews the basics of the cells and what they can do. With clear descriptions and clever imagery it’s a great, short video for people trying to get up to speed on the basics.
